Pro-Railing

The Pro-Railing handrail and Stainless steel balustrade system consists of over 1000 components, allowing for the quick installation of complex and attractive stainless steel railings and balustrades to create a clean and contemporary look, giving a professional result.

Components are available in both 304 grades (indoor use), 316 (outdoor use) and ultra marine Duplex 2205 where additional resistance to corrosion is required. Components come either in a satin or mirror polished finish. This photo shows how both the Pro-Railing and glass and spigot system can be brought together to make a truly bespoke system. To keep down costs on this system, the client request standard off the shelf glass panels, but bespoke panels can be sourced to ensure all panels are the same size.

Panel Grip Aluminium glass system

The PanelGrip® system utilises a unique ‘Allen key’ locking mechanism of high-strength aluminium and PVC glass clamps. Combined with a specially designed aluminium extrusion, the Panel Grip design enables the system to be easily adjusted and readjusted once installed.

When assembled with tempered monolithic, or tempered laminated glass, PanelGrip™ offers a structural glass railing system which can be either side or base fixed. The system is best suited to straight runs, but intricate corners and angles can be achieved by Roberts Fabrications, meaning the system can be fixed to staircases and awkwardly shaped obstacles.

The allows for several ‘top of glass’ finishes; split tube to make a handrail, stainless steel channel to just cap the top of the glass or left open for the minimalistic look. LED lighting can also be fitted inside the top covering, which is a very effective way of lighting glassed areas (although it does show up fingerprints so keep those kids away from it!)

The aluminium extrusions come in a standard mill finish but can either be anodised or powder coated to suit the surrounding decor.

Stainless steel Glass spigots

A Stainless steel spigot and toughened glass system is an ideal cost-effective solution to common Working at Height building regulations.

Most commonly used for creating fenced areas around entrances, walkways, decking or swimming pools, glass spigots can also be used as short posts to increase the height of existing structures. Because each glass panel is held independently to the next, curved systems can be achieved with ease.

Glass spigots are an easy and effective way of creating impressive designs for residential, commercial or public buildings.

The top of the glass can either be finished with a handrail or channel capping or left open by adding some stainless steel straighteners.
